I think the font that you chose definitely helps with the tone of the audio! It portrays more of an old-timey feeling, which works in this case. To further help visually with the tone, I think you might benefit from using some type of overlay/displacement map to give it a grainy, chalky, radio feeling that we hear in the audio.
