I definitely think you could stylize the video even more by maybe adding texture? There's texture to the audio simply as a recording in the 20th century so reflecting that through textured overlays or distressing your type might support the overall look and feel to the video.
I am really liking it so far, there is a lot of pauses between your words and phrases you can play with as well. I would say to add more variation to the type rather than have it all one size and font to create some more dimension.
One thing I am curious about is it intentional to have some of the text animation overlap other parts of text?
